Why I built BidBuilders
BidBuilders started with something I kept seeing as a director of a small North Tyneside community interest company: brilliant community work, and funding the organisation was genuinely eligible for — left on the table because the admin of applying was simply too heavy for a small team with no spare evenings.

Why not just use ChatGPT?
You can — and funders are already tired of the results. Generic AI bids assert need instead of evidencing it, invent statistics, and read like everyone else's. Yes. CICs limited by guarantee with at least two unrelated directors, an asset lock, and a dedicated bank account requiring two unrelated signatures are fully eligible for National Lottery Awards for All grants up to £20,000.
Why do you charge flat monthly fees instead of commission on grants?
Taking commission on awarded grant funds breaches the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice and is forbidden by major funders. Our flat fee ensures total ethical compliance and means every pound awarded stays in your organisation.
